This weekend, I created a one-minute cinematic trailer titled Rise of the Bun. On the surface, it's the origin story of a white rabbit named Billy Bentley. Beneath the surface, it's a proof of concept for what happens when myth, AI and creative direction converge.
The Experiment
Tools used: Midjourney (cinematics), Suno (music), AfterEffects (stitching), ChatGPT (collaboration), and yes - even a 3D resin printer.
The goal: to see if a full cinematic arc could be crafted in just one minute, entirely through AI workflows.
The result: an epic trailer that feels both playful and profound.
The Mythos
Billy Bentley isn't just a rabbit. He's the carrier of ORO - a coin, a code, and a secret untold. His story weaves ancient symbolism (pyramids, vaults, glyphs) with futuristic technology. He embodies what it means to bring myth into the digital era: entertaining, mysterious and deeply symbolic.
The Bigger Picture
Why does this matter? Because storytelling is changing. We're entering a world where what used to take millions of dollars in Hollywood can now be prototyped by a small team, or even one person with AI collaborators.
Closing Reflection
Rise of the Bun is about what happens when we dare to blend creativity, myth and technology to build worlds. This is the beginning of a mythos encoded in story, art and symbol.
